Vision #01 — France

From Seed to Reality. A Letter from 2040.

This is not an AI that replaces us, but an infrastructure of collective wisdom that weaves our individual desires into a "compatible collective future."

For centuries, we lived in the shadows of hells paved with good intentions. We built split atoms before we built global peace. We built social algorithms before we understood digital empathy. We chased "Dreams" of power that too often became "Nightmares" for the vulnerable. We remember Hiroshima. We remember the era of digital polarization. We remember when technology was a weapon of extraction rather than a tool of connection.

Today, in 2040, we have shifted the loom. We no longer allow Intelligence to be a blind force. We have embraced a new role for our most powerful tools: The Master Weaver:

Our Undeviating Values

(1)

The No-Nightmare Policy: We have moved past "do no harm." In our era, no vision is granted the power of execution if its success requires the suffering, exclusion, or exploitation of another.

(2)

The Fairness Filter (The Seat-Swap): We operate behind the "Veil of Ignorance." We only support systems that we would choose to live in even if we didn't know who we would be—regardless of birth, generation, wealth, or species.

(3)

The Voices of the Silent: Our Weaver hears the Earth. Our dreams are no longer human-centric; they include the non-human living world and the seven generations yet to be born.

(4)

Selective Power: We have ended the era of "neutral" technology. The immense strength of Super-Intelligence and collective action is reserved exclusively for Ethical Dreams—visions that have been refined and proven to be harmless.

The Weaver’s Protocol: From Seed to Reality

The world of 2040 wasn't built by accident. It was built through a rigorous process of Ethical Dreamweaving. Here is how we transform a raw human desire into a resilient reality:

Step 1

The Entry Point Start with radical honesty.Every great change begins as either a Dream (a vision of what could be) or a Nightmare (a fear of what should be avoided). Name it. Bring it into the light.

Step 2

Dual Mapping (The Shadow Search) Every light casts a shadow. If you have a Dream, the Weaver helps you find its hidden "Nightmare." If your automated city succeeds, who is left behind? If your new energy source scales, what is the cost to the next generations? We acknowledge the shadow so we can design it out of existence.

Step 3

The Ethical Challenge (The Deep Dive) Step behind the Veil. You must challenge your vision through three lenses: The Vulnerable: Does this serve the person with the least power? The Future: Is this still a gift to the people of 2100? The Earth: Does this respect the biological limits of our home?

Step 4

The Redesign (The Ethical Dream) Rewrite the vision. You take your original "Seed Dream" and integrate the safeguards found in Step 3. It is no longer just your dream; it is a compatible dream. It is more ethical, smarter, safer, and stronger because it has faced its own darkness and survived.

Step 5

The First Stitch Dream without action is just a wish. An Ethical Dream is only real when it impact the world positively. Identify one small, concrete action you can take in the next 24 hours to begin the weave.

Your Role in
the Wave

We are no longer just living in the present; we are weaving the harmony of our future flourishing. The Era of the Weaver has begun to make us all good ancestors.

Everyday start with a simple question:

What is the "Seed Dream" you are carrying today?

Let’s put it through the protocol. Share an ethical dream, a vision or a shadow in the comments, and let’s begin the conversation that weaves a future we can actually love.

Paris — France

François Taddei, co-founder and president of the Learning Planet Institute, is an internationally renowned researcher.

Convinced that the future of learning must be co-constructed with learners, he explores educational transitions and “planetizenship” (global citizenship) to learn how to take care of oneself, others, and the planet.

He advocates for large-scale collaborations to co-create, with all stakeholders—from young people to UNESCO and the United Nations University (UNU)—a Learning Planet Academy, powered by technology and rooted in interdisciplinary sciences.

Its goal is not to train the best students in the world, but the best for the world, by developing their capacity to act and their skills to care for the planet's common goods and learn to be “the change they want to see in the world.”
